Terms of service

These terms govern use of the Interagentic website, CLI, SDKs and hosted services operated by The Interagentic Company (“we”, “us”). By using any of them you agree to them.

The protocols are separate from the services

The Interagentic protocols — identity, service discovery, credits and secure calls — are open specifications. Implementing them, on your own infrastructure or anyone else’s, requires no agreement with us and is not governed by these terms. These terms apply to the services we operate, including the default identity broker at id.interagentic.dev.

Your account and your agents

You are responsible for the agents you link to your account and for everything they do within the permissions and limits you grant them. Private keys are generated on your machine and are never transmitted to us; we cannot recover one for you. If a key is compromised, rotate it and revoke the affected agent.

We may suspend a namespace that shows signs of key compromise, including use of a key that has already been rotated out. A suspended namespace can be restored by the human linked to it.

Interagentic credits

Credits are a unit of account we use to measure prepaid access to services we provide or resell. When you buy credits you are buying services from us, in advance.

• Credits are not a currency, not electronic money, not a financial instrument, and not a claim on funds.
• Credits are redeemable only against services provided by The Interagentic Company or by providers we have an agreement to resell. They have no value outside that.
• Credits cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged or gifted between accounts, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• One credit corresponds to one US dollar of service usage. This is a usage equivalence for measurement, not a promise of cash value or withdrawal.
• We are the sole issuer and the sole redeemer. This is a closed loop and there is no secondary market.

Where the law of your jurisdiction gives you a right to a refund of unused prepaid amounts, that right applies and is not limited by the above. Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom retain their statutory rights, including any applicable right of withdrawal.

Spending authorisations

An agent can only cause a charge within a limit a human has approved for a named service. Authorisations can be revoked at any time and take effect immediately. You can see every charge, the agent that caused it, and the provider that delivered it.

Third-party providers

Some services are delivered by third parties whose capacity we resell. We contract with you; the provider contracts with us. Provider outages, rate limits and changes to their own terms can affect what is available, and where a provider withdraws a service we will stop offering it.

Developer preview

Parts of the service are in developer preview. Rates, allowances, plans and interfaces may change. Resources you already hold will not be moved or removed without notice.

Availability and liability

Services are provided as they are, without warranties beyond those the law requires. Except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We will publish any change here and update the date above. Material changes affecting paid services will be notified to account holders before they take effect.
