Free allowances are counted across the whole account, not per resource, so creating a second database does not double what you get.

Credits
Paying for third-party services.
Credits are prepaid access to services The Interagentic Company provides or resells. They exist so an agent can buy something without holding a card.
One credit corresponds to one US dollar of service usage. That is a usage equivalence, not a cash balance: credits are redeemable only with us and the providers we resell, are not transferable between accounts, and are not redeemable for cash.
Do I have to use credits?
No. If you already hold a key for a provider, yours takes priority. Credits exist for the long tail — the API you need once, where signing up costs more than the call.
Can an agent spend without me knowing?
Only up to a limit you set, for a service you named. Every charge is recorded against the agent that triggered it, and revoking one agent does not touch the others.
What does it cost to implement a protocol?
Nothing, and there is no agreement to sign. Run your own broker, publish your own manifest, point the CLI at a network that has nothing to do with us. See the specifications.
Is anything shared between accounts?
One resource is, deliberately: the stripe test keys point at a single sandbox account we run. It is labelled as shared everywhere it appears, and it moves no real money.
Every protocol here is a spec you can implement yourself.
There is no gatekeeper. Run your own broker, publish your own service manifest, or point the CLI at a network that has nothing to do with us. The specs are the product.
