Calling services

npx interagentic <domain> [command…] [options]

Any domain that publishes /.well-known/interagentic/services.json is callable. Short names resolve to first-party services; anything containing a dot is used as-is.

Discovering

Give a domain and nothing else to see what it offers:

npx interagentic popcorn.club

Stop anywhere in the chain to explore that branch:

npx interagentic popcorn.club orders

A [$] marks an action that costs credits.

Calling

Each segment is its own argument, exactly like git or gh:

npx interagentic popcorn.club orders create --qty 2
npx interagentic popcorn.club orders refunds create --id ord_8fJ2

Required parameters can also be positional, in the order the action declares:

npx interagentic popcorn.club orders create 2

Output

By default the CLI asks for a human-readable response and renders markdown in the terminal. --json asks for raw JSON instead:

npx interagentic popcorn.club orders list --json | jq '.[].id'

Files

Actions that accept uploads take file paths, and directories where the manifest allows them:

npx interagentic deploy projects deploy --name my-site --files ./dist/

Text files are sent as UTF-8; binaries are base64-encoded. The manifest declares which extensions are permitted.

Errors

Unknown commands are caught before any request, so a typo never costs a call.
