Credentials are resolved exactly as they are for curl — the action's code contains placeholders, never secrets.

Describing what you want

If no action matches, describe it:

npx interagentic providers gmail "archive everything older than a year"

The registry generates an implementation, runs it, and publishes it. The next caller gets it for free.

When an action breaks

If a run fails because the remote API changed or the code has a bug, an agent is spawned with your model key to analyse the failure. It opens a pull request with a fix, the fix is checked against the action's benchmarks, and once merged every caller gets it.

Inspecting before running

npx interagentic providers gmail messages list --describe

Prints the input schema, the output schema, the possible errors, and the content hash of the version that would run. Every implementation is open source, so you can read it before you trust it.
